Boat Bottom Paint
Protect Your Hull. Enhance Performance.
Marine growth like barnacles, algae, and slime can quickly attach to an unprotected hull, reducing performance, increasing fuel costs, and potentially damaging your vessel. At Yireh Boat Detailing Inc, our Boat Bottom Paint service is designed to keep your boat protected, efficient, and ready for the water all year round.
What Is Bottom Paint?
Bottom paint, also known as antifouling paint, is a special coating applied to the underside of your boat to prevent marine organisms from attaching to the hull. It plays a crucial role in maintaining your boat’s speed, fuel efficiency, and longevity.
Our Boat Bottom Paint Process:
Thorough Inspection & Surface Prep
We begin by hauling out and inspecting the hull. We then clean, sand, and prep the surface to ensure optimal adhesion and performance of the new paint.
Old Paint Removal (If Needed)
If the previous coating is failing or heavily built up, we strip away the old layers to start fresh and avoid buildup issues.
Barrier Coat (Optional)
We apply a protective epoxy barrier coat (if needed) to prevent water penetration and hull blistering — especially important for fiberglass boats.
Precision Paint Application
Using high-quality antifouling paint tailored to your boating conditions (freshwater, saltwater, or mixed), we apply the bottom paint evenly for smooth, long-lasting protection.
Clean Finishing & Final Check
We make sure all waterline edges are sharp, and everything is done cleanly and professionally. Before you hit the water, your boat’s bottom will be in top shape.
